Lois Watson is Watsonart and Watson Illustrating. Her love for architecture and art have enabled her success in the architectural rendering business since 1995 and in the field of fine art since 2010 through her unique layered paper paintings. A self-taught artist in both fields, she continues to explore and implement new mediums and styles. Her attention to detail and unique style makes each Watson Illustrating rendering and Watsonart piece a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Lois' background in the corporate arena employed her with the skills and ability to manage large projects and work well on teams, appealing to large development projects, yet the nature of her work, producing art, makes her inviting to the homeowner for their home portrait.  Her architectural renderings have been used in projects from Pennsylvania to Louisiana; California to South Carolina and the Bahamas.

Lois shows her paper collages in local Wilmington, NC shows and has won several awards, including People's Choice 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2022 in the Wilmington Art Assoc Spring Show and Sale.  Her work can be seen at Gallery Citrine in downtown Wilmington  www.gallerycitrine.com  and at Flow Gallery Palmetto Blufffs in Bluffton, SC 

She is a member of the Wilmington Art Association and the Art League of Leland.  

Lois lives in Wilmington, North Carolina where she works out of her home studio.  Her work is greatly influenced by the beautiful coastal area she calls home.
